I have one criticism though, he's dressed up Bavarian (with an authentic beer+glass even), but his accent isn't.

My step-father taught me that you can get a friendly response in just about any culture by yelling in a friendly tone from a distance at a native in a gross parody of his language. It's just that with German it's hard to sound friendly. He spoke German, French, and English.
Congrats Aurora. Don't limit yourself to Germany. 27 free days in Europe could be an adventure. Also Prague is beautiful and just an hour or so away.
