Let's say that the number seven represents perfection and six incompleteness, as you say. Does every occurrence of those numbers need to be interpreted that way? If not, what criteria are you using to distinguish them?

I used my brain! Actually I have heard this argument before and knew that the flag that actually represents the LGBT movement was not representing the real rainbow. So, like l said l used my brain and googled the information to make sure I was remembering correctly.
The number 7 does represent completeness/perfection and 6 incompleteness as related to the scriptures. I wouldn't say all cases that would be silly at the least. However when it comes to biblical moral values and even other biblical instances, they become what I stated. Since the LGBT movement is against biblical moral principles these numbers apply, the God of the Bible is what the OP is referring to, correct.
