It is a fucking waste of money. This is simply going to create short term busy work, add to the dept long term because the rich wont pay taxes to compensate for it, not really add to keeping people out, because most legal and illegals enter through checkpoints. Secondly it would be cheaper to add cameras and heat sensors more planes and drones and officers.
But even if you want to add officers and drones and heat sensors it is costing us far more to keep undocumented migrants off the books whom end up costing more in terms of health care, and not reporting crime out of fear of deportation.
This is just bullshit to please the base. Nothing pragmatic economically one bit, all based on bigotry and fear. The worst part is the proposed wall is only going to go 6 feet underground and the moronic GOP thinks 6 feet will deter people digging tunnels? If you are worried about that, scientist have very sensitive equipment we already use to study volcanos and earthquakes that detect ground motion miles below. You could also use motion detectors too.
But funny thing, these same idiots who voted for Trump in a golf community now don't want it. I guess it is much easier to fuck over the poor and minorities than it is fuck over business owners like the golf course owner.
