That doesn't follow. All that proves is you ought to take responsibility for yourself and actions, not that you ought to value yourself more than others.
Isn't that the same thing? Nobody's going to take care of me, but me. Meaning I have to look after myself above all others. That doesn't mean I need to interfere with others in the process, but no one is going to drive me to the gym, and sit me down in a machine. Nobody's going to stock my pantry with healthy food, instead of sugary junk. I have to do that myself.
