True, but the thing is that with band shirts what you're communicating is your support of the musicians and by wearing a shirt with just a 'satanic' symbol, well, it may come across as trying to be 'edgy'. I don't really care what people wear personally, but I can understand why it could seem gimmicky to some.
To be honest though, I don't think many people would recognize this symbol at all. First time I've ever seen it and I recall having a whole lecture on 'bad' symbols back in the day (and now I sound old :|).
