To be honest though, I don't think many people would recognize this symbol at all. First time I've ever seen it and I recall having a whole lecture on 'bad' symbols back in the day (and now I sound old :|).
I don't buy that someone wearing a motley crue t shirt with the depiction of demons on the front is simply innocently "supporting the band" and isn't at all aware of how those images come across to other people.
All clothing is a form of ornamentation. Unless of course your walk around in tattered rags that do just enough to cover your naked body.
I get where you guys are coming from but it's a little off the mark. All clothing is a statement of some sort. Even if that statement is saying, "I'm a normal, boring person who only wears solid colors with no graphics or designs."
