He just.. gave a shit ton of weapons to Saudi.. in turn Saudi funds groups like ISIS and the only group truly defeating ISIS and the others are 
Russia, Assad, and other terrorists are fighting them because they too know they are worse than every other "rebel" group. And we don't need to be in the middle east
they can fight on their own with the help of Russia.
