Um, that's about co-morbid disorders, which aren't confusing at all. Are you suggesting they can't tell the difference between depression and seizures? Are you suggesting that they send people to a psychiatrist to treat the seizures? I ask because it's obvious to me that they are sent to the psychiatrist to treat the co-morbid disorder, not the seizures. (Co-morbid means occurring together, not they're both the same thing so intermingled we can't figure it out.)

The seizures and depression are linked together, that's why: Quote: "Depressive, anxiety, attention-deficit, and psychotic disorders are more frequent in patients with epilepsy than in the general population.".
