- Hung parliament confirmed after 'no Tory majority' -- so... the party with most votes is not the one with majority in Parliament. Portugal has had many governments like this.... however, the last time this happened, they convinced the President that a sort of coalition between the Socialists and the Communists had a better chance of passing legislation, so they became government... I wonder if the same could happen in Britain...
- Results so far: Tories win 315 seats, Labour 261, SNP 35, LibDem 12, Other 23 -- what will these "other" do?
- Labour take 23 seats from the Conservatives, up 29 overall -- Strong and Stable my arse! HAHA!
- SNP lose 21 seats, end up with just 35 -- The Scots losing a bit here...
- Pound dives as analysts warn of 'worst outcome' -- Economy analysts are notorious for getting things wrong! (while always backing up the right-wing parties, or conservatives, or whatever keeps the capital in the hands of the 1%). Case study: Portugal - Socialist/communist government and the economy is growing, while the people are happier than under the previous right-wing / belt-tightening / capitalist fools.
