Why would the dems distance themselves from a movement committed to human rights and equality?  That's pretty much foundational to progressivism.  I'm not sure that they could, even if they wanted to.

I think what you mean is that the dems should distance themselves from the internet albatrosses the right wants to hang around their necks...but they -do- distance themselves from that, constantly...for all the good it does them.

For all of the rights bitching, these past decades, about being suppressed, they sure as shit managed to control the flow of the narrative, didn't they?  It's almost as if all that alt-white snowflaking was a projection or something......

Interesting view on that. I am for the same rights you listed. But I do find the SJW branch a bit concerning. But maybe we are both interpreting it differently. When I think of SJW's I think of those students at Cal that wanted to suppress someone's free speech. But, it is a stick issue I guess and I think it depends how you view it.
