He's an "outsider" and thinks that makes him a target for everybody. He's outside his pool of suck-ups and cronies, true. But he wants badly to be something more than a professional bankrupt, and thinks "statesman status" is something you can buy.

Haven't republicans been pushing the voter fraud narrative for years now? All of a sudden there's no issue?
