Neither of us will change the other's mind, so it's just a polite enough way of saying "blah blah blah" with my eyes crossed, tongue hanging out the left side of my mouth, hat turned sideways, and my finger my nose.

I've already changed my mind due to my experiences, was my point. But I know if you have lived through what you claim and still hold your lack of empathy as a matter of pride, you're probably as you admit, immune. You cannot, however, speak for me, and you should desist.

If you want to change my mind, plugging your ears and shouting (which you're admittedly doing) is not likely a successful approach. And if you don't want to change my mind, why are you talking to me?

Sounds like self-justification to me. Help yourself, and keep those lines coming. We likes us some fodder.
