If you want to change my mind, plugging your ears and shouting (which you're admittedly doing) is not likely a successful approach. And if you don't want to change my mind, why are you talking to me?
Sounds like self-justification to me. Help yourself, and keep those lines coming. We likes us some fodder.
Why am I talking to you? Because you started the conversation. I was actually learning some shit from Minimimalist about the Wall Street Journal when you popped in with your off topic personal assessment of me. I simply agreed and you just kept the chat going.
I personally don't feel that my last post required a reply. I was really just stating that it was a pointless disagreement for both of us. Partly because you aren't going agree with my view, and partly because I don't care. No self justification here man. All accepting and comfortable on my end, but if it helps you pass the time, we can keep the conversation going. I got everything done for the day and I'm just watching Super Troopers at the moment anyway.
I also didn't plug my ears (or make a statement implying such). About the only time I'll do that is when my wife is complaining how I'm mowing the grass. I'll plug my ears and say "La La La La....". That's about it though. I'm not fond of yelling and seldom see the need for that either. not on here anyway. If someone is doing at or below the speed limit in a non passing zone; I'll yell about that. If two people are doing the same speed side by side on the highway, I'll yell about that too. I get pretty shitty about that. Or if Mark Marquez is battling for the lead in a race or running a hot lap during qualifying; I'll hoot and hollar then too. Outside of that though, there's no real need to yell. Hell, even in those circumstances there isn't a need for it, but it does make me feel better.
Is there more that needs explained or clarified?
