Spree killer: Someone who kills three or more people without a cooling off period.
I know the difference, my point was that you are far more likely to be the victim of a spree killer than a serial killer. But even with both, you are still far more likely to be a victim of domestic murder. That is commonly noted as being murdered by someone in your home or extended family or neighbor.
So detectives show up to a murder scene.
One detective asks the first officer who showed up
"Has the body been identified?"
Officer, "Yes, it is the body of Snap".
A couple weeks later another 911 call and the detectives show up to another murder scene.
Detective asks the officer,
"Have you identified the body,"
Officer, "Yes, it is the body of Crackle".
A month later yet another 911 call and they get called out again,
Detective, "Have you identified the body?"
Officer, "Yes, it is the body of Pop".
Lead detective later calls for a agency meeting that day.
Detective calls the task force into the conference room,
"Guys, I need every one of you to do double time. It looks like we have a cereal killer on our hands."
HA I MADE A FUNNY!
