There still remains the "hunt for the poison pill rider" game in the inevitable upcoming short term fix for the healthcare markets. The GOP could conceivably add a deferred repeal into an ACA fix with designed-to-fail terms.
They cannot get it through the senate under budget reconciliation which means that if enough Dems do not vote for the final bill it will not pass. McConnell knows that. This is a face saving device.
Meanwhile, the WLB's lies aside, the ACA is functioning. The republicunts hate to hear that. Fucks up their whole message to the douchebags who vote for them.
