NDEs can tell us this.
No they don't![]()
Even Jesus came back to life and this was witnessed by thousand.
No he didn't and no they didn't
Let me see son.
You think that witness never seen anything right?
What about Caesar?
Did he ever cross the Rubicon?
And the Viking?
Did they ever went around raping, robbing and killing?
And what about Genghis Kahn?
Did he ever went around half world with his soldiers?
Oh, I see.
You only believe some history but not other.
How smart you are son!![]()
Quote:Your not driving it your are it
Aren't there already self-driving cars in the early prototype stage?
Yes there are and guess what?
They are all programmed to act in a certain way by the inventor.
And guess what son?
The inventor got an human brain in which a consciousness run the show.
Sorry mate but you lost once again.
Never mind anyway.
More challenges are on the way.
(Thanks for messing up the quoting system, now I don't know anymore who write these posts whether Ast or Ink)

If something relies on x, then that x is the boss, at least to a certain extent. They are real close to cars that can drive themselves, but that's another topic. You haven't provided any evidence that your analogy is accurate. As far as I'm concerned, I've seen no evidence that a soul exists so yes, the body does do the driving and is nothing like a car. How come when you aren't in REM sleep you can't remember what it's like? How come when people are in comas, it's like they just don't exist? How come certain brain injuries can completely change a person's personality? How come when the brain doesn't make enough of certain chemicals it is very difficult for a person to be happy? The brain seems to be the one in charge, not a soul. Where is your evidence that a soul exists? You keep bringing up NDEs, where the heart and breathing have stopped. But for the brain, it takes six minutes without oxygen for the brain to even begin to die. Who knows what supply of oxygen it had before the heart stopped? And of course the temperature of the body affects this time too, the colder you are the longer your brain can live. My point is, LR, that even when someone is clinically dead it does not mean they are brain dead, or even close. So all those NDEs could indeed be explained by the brain hallucinating as it loses oxygen and begins to die.
The human journey from birth to death is such that we are stuck inside a body.
The body is not you but because we are stuck inside it we feel that we are one with it.
The same goes for when you drive your car.
After a while you control the vehicle so well that it seem that you and the car are one.
This is an illusion that trick people that is why they think that body and brain are you.
The body give energy to the brain and the brain to you.
You, you, you.
Smart people however wake up and grow up and understand how the system works.
You too one day in some other reincarnation will wake up and grow up.
In the meantime you just do what you can in your little world of fantasy.
Challenges however would help you to grow up faster.
