You're the perfect example of the poisoning of the American christian well.
So where is the coverage of the thousands my home congregation has personally saved from vensualia? Where are the stories of the churches who have spent millions after the movie stars left Haiti? Can you name some of the embedded church groups who are helping to rebuild that nation?
You can name a single person out of the millions who give their lives to helping others...
Now name me a christian who hates fags. out of the maybe 100s that actively do hate gay people everyone of you can produce a name.
Why is that? if not for a one sided anti-church media?
What makes you so narcissistic as to think sharing is a patent held by one sect?
If a religious charity is more successful than another it isn't because a real god exists, it is because humans evolved with empathy. The other reason is that sect simply markets their "goodness" better and gets more donations based on that fallacy that a deity and a book are the result of their good fortune.
If you would study the worlds religions and not simply hide behind yours, you would know every religion has depictions of acts of kindness and sharing.
Hindus have charities, Buddhists have charities, Jews have charities and even Muslims have charities. And GASP even atheists have charities.
You know what that says to me? That says our species ability to be empathetic and share is in our genes, not in our labels, not in old books of mythology.
If one charity is more successful than another, that is merely the marketing, the label itself has no magic powers.
