And then we can embrace categorical ambiguity with some plausible speculations as to Jesus' torments in hell post crucifixion and pre-resurrection in order to earn souls for His Salvation Club.
Clearly, He was burned. The Lake of Fire is first stop for all who enter the premises. This would not have been pleasant, indeed, worse than anything Jesus has experienced to date on earth. Now, worse than anything He can imagine ?? Interesting to think about, preaching apocalyptic Judaism would imply He has given some thought along those lines.
And then there is the physics of a 'lake' of fire. Fire would behave like an extreme fluid. It would penetrate pores, of course, and nostrils and ears. I think we can forgive Jesus some screaming (He would after all) and so Jesus would be ingesting the fire too. Even his tear ducts would be conveying the burning fire !!!
So, we have Jesus being thoroughly tormented, inside and out, relentlessly and thoroughly. Even Jesus' penis would be conveying the fire deep into his bladder and kidneys, prostrate and epididymis and testicles too.
Imagine His torment!! And His love for humanity to voluntarily endure this to secure Salvation for all who BELIEVE !!!
