True the Catholic church clearly accepts evolution . Thou not officially. It's pretty clear .

A catholic must read genesis as a real history, they cannot deny that god created everything, nor can they deny that we all descend from just two, specially created, human beings - adam and eve, whose sin follows us through heredity and provides the very reason for the existence of christ and the church.  

I've said it before, I'll say it again - the church emphatically does not accept evolution...they just mouth the words to get science and their own incredulous followers off their nuts.  To accept evolutionary biology is to reject the very foundation of the catholic faith, it's official dogma, and it's infallible decrees.
