1 is an abstract word but can be applied to what we observe.
Yes like i said i agree with this
when i say time its man made, im refering to the word that describes the mechanism.
Sorry i'm having trouble quoting for some reason just a bit of noob problems
I may be a bit pedantic on my part. But the problem with laypeople, especially theist, they have a horrible tendency to twist what scientists say to suit their agenda. That is why I find it important to make clarifications.
For example, if you have not run into this bullshit, believe me you will.
"Theory" to scientists is based on repeated experiment, testing and falsification and peer review. So the "theory of evolution" is FACT.
But to the theist, what those idiots hear is, "Oh it is just a mere guess".
Theist pull the same shit misquoting or lying about what famous scientists say, like Einstein when he used the word "God" and all he meant by that use was metaphor in how natural science is used to describe the laws of nature and the universe, not an old bronze age comic book character.
It wasn't that you did anything wrong. It was merely a lip twitch on my part because of my fear laypeople will bastardize what you say twisting it or taking it out of context.
Just be aware especially with hard core theists that how you use words and scientists use words are not how they see the same words.
