I hope they will be okay. I wasn't thrilled they chose to stay and I can't wrap my head around why anyone would choose to do so, but they are in their late 60's and they live life as they please... guess if you're gonna go out... a cat 4-5 hurricane is the way to go.
If they're up by Daytona they should be fine so long as they've prepared appropriately. It's predicted to be Cat 1 - Cat 2 by the time it gets there. I've got a bud not too far from there, in Deland.
They haven't checked in in over four hours. I don't like this at all. I know they are grown adults, but I still can worry because they haven't been keeping in touch. The only thing I can think of is that maybe they lost power and haven't been able to charge their cell phones or anything.
