I see you haven't really looked into the historicity of the apostles, either. I find that unsurprising.

I know Pinky, I know.  
You live in a small village lost in the middle west of America so I have to understand that you never heard
of a place called Rome where Peter went to propagate Jesus's spirituality or a place in south India where an other apostle named Thomas did the same or other places where other apostles went to do the same thing.

Look mate you are fully excused for not knowing about the historicity of the apostles.  
If anybody blame you for your lack of knowledge you let me know.
I know how to fix these idiots.  

Historians think there might have been a Peter who knew and consorted with Paul (a Hellenist), and that there might have been a Peter who ran a very Jewish sect of Christianity. There's some support for the idea that these could have been the same person, and some speculation that one or both of them might have witnessed the life of a historical Jesus (if indeed there was such a person). Whether or not either of them corresponds with Simon Peter is a guessing game, and there's no compelling evidence that Peter ever lead the church in Rome, nor that he was crucified.
