I don't recall encountering any native peoples. Our trip was in the 70s. Everyone was super nice. Dad was perpetually confused by purchasing gas by the liter. Border crossing (either way) was uneventful. Went to International Peace Gardens too.
Saskatoon berries are yummy. They seemed to be everywhere we went.
