Do we know the person penning the letter is not Mormon ?
Alma 3:6 “the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark that was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression.”
Not wanting to be around people with transgressions otta be understandable, even outside of the Mormon orbit . . . .
