I lost hope in Star Wars after I saw Jar Jar Binks's annoying bastard self in poor late 90s CGI and wanted to stab my eyes out with a pitchfork.

That movie was so bad and such a gigantic fall after the awesomeness of the original trilogy.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VI - RETURN OF THE JEDI - 80% on Rottentomatos
STAR WARS EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE - 55% on Rottentomatos
The ratings match very well with how I feel about the first 4 episodes. Episode 1 took a steaming crap on the series AFAIC
In fact those scores are super duper accurate to me because I always felt like episode 6 was a really really good movie but still not as good as the first two, too.
