Just read an article about Episode VIII while in a waiting room. Young Jedi apprentice gets training from old Jedi master while the resistance takes a beating from the bad guys and a small band of Young Jedi's friends go to an exotic location and run into Dearth Vader... er... Kylo Ren. That doesn't sound familiar at all. They also run into a "slicer," think hacker, who's only in it for the money. Probably named Hon Sohllo.
