I'm not saying that people cannot do what they want with their money, just that there is a difference between being petty and socially responsible. I think people are making everything way, way too political.
The only reason I don't buy Starbucks coffee is cause I don't like Starbucks coffee. And I don't bother shopping at Hobby Lobby because they have a shitty selection of art supplies. Personally, I think don't like big corporations and companies using their businesses as platforms to raise my awareness about social issues. I don't really like charity fundraisers that rely on me buying crappy cookies or overpriced candy bars or magazine subscriptions either. Flibbity-flue.
