You're wrong there, a good number of christian theologians disguising themselves as historians agree he existed. Most actual historians steer well clear of the question, mainly because of the flack they'd take by pointing out the fact that there is no historical evidence for his existence.

There were thousands, Yeshua was a very common name in Hebrew circles and Chrestus/Christos was a very common name/title/use name in overlapping Hellenistic circles. Whether any of them were the basis for the Jesus cults of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th centuries which became christianity is another kettle of fish altogether.
