Its funny but also kinda sad! :p

They might not have had the money for anything else. When my daughters were little, money was so tight one year that the one who didn't have a hand-me-down costume to use was festooned with purple balloons and went trick-or-treating as a bunch of grapes. It's long since passed into family lore that we laugh about.

I'm pretty sure that was it. I smelled awful though. They could have gotten inventive with something less stinky Tongue
