Disney Channel is making history with its first gay coming-out story

Disney constantly breaks ground, an honestly makes good entertainment (well, I'm not fond of their TV shows so much, but lots of teens love them), yet so many people hate Disney, I don't get it.

I despise Disney for their propensity toward quantity over quality and their apparent inability to produce, in house, anything of quality. Disney media that's worth a damn is almost always produced by someone else and branded with a Disney logo.

I mean, you are entitled to your wrong opinion, but are you saying you think:

Hercules
Tarzan
The Emperors New Groove
Lilo and Stitch
Tangled
Wreck-it-Ralph
Paperman
Frozen (Ok, I give you this one, 'cause it was overhyped, but it's not lacking quality...)
Big Hero 6
Moana
Zootopia

...are all or mostly all shit films?
Beause that's not like 1 or 2 in the last 15 or so years. That's a lot of good movies and short films right there.  All made in house.
Also, I get tired of people doing this:

I hate that Disney owns "Insert IP here", they are going to mess with it and screw it up.
AND
All the the good things Disney makes cannot be attributed to Disney, it's someone else.

It's one or the other, folks.  Either they meddle and it is at least partly due to them that those things are good, or they don't meddle, so they can't be blamed when they buy and IP and farm it out to one of their subsidiaries and it sucks.  Pick.A.Fucking.Side.
