I married my first husband at the age of 20 and we had been together for 4 years already. I 'wore the pants' in that relationship. I was always right. That relationship ended not long after the marriage happened.
Now I'm 28, older/wiser, and learning from my last marriage. I've been with my husband for 5 years married 1. I'm 'right' only when we both know it dealt with something that has truly upset me. IE he said something insensitive without realizing it and he apologizes when I tell him I was hurt by it. He is 'right' when I come down from my crazy episodes and realize he puts up with a lot from me. The rest of the time I feed him to get him in a better mood, he lets me sleep on my anger, or we watch the newest episode of Bob's Burgers (yes I'm being serious, the season premier just recently got us over a stupid spat)
