Atlass33 is one of our Muslim members here. He will readily admit that the Koran and Hadiths have been and still are used to justify violence towards others. 

WE are NOT denying that happens.

But if you think the solution is to deny human rights to your fellow humans, or be inhuman to those fleeing war or poverty, then yea, we do have a problem with you. Nobody is arguing to allow violent people in. We are arguing that you don't keep non violent people out. And the same can be said for the bullshit arguments about Mexico made by the bigots on the right. 

Islam does NOT own the sole patent on human cruelty. EVERY religion has been used to justify violence towards others.

And considering their has been condemnation from Muslims . This further pushes that point .

It is not wrong to criticize or blaspheme religion. It was because of such acts the west is better off. The problem now is we cant simply point to one religion in one part of the world and claim they are the sole problem. OUR species bad logic causes people worldwide to use religion to justify violence. Any holy writing in the world can be used to justify harm to others. 

One person will call it terrorism, another person will call it self defense. But all holy writings of all religions ARE used to justify both.

My empathy as a human even in recognizing that humans use holy books as weapons will not allow me to to assume the guilt prior to an act. It is possible to criticize and blaspheme without losing sight that we are still the same species.

Alpha has been brainwashed into accepting simple solutions and cliche answers, and allowed his own fear to swallow such.

Alpha also stupidly thinks all atheists are liberals, or that we always agree, and we are not all liberals and we don't always agree.

Atlass is a Muslim, but I won't put him in with the same likes as the sicko who ran over those people in NYC. I've had it out with him too. I've been blunt with him too. But no, until or unless he gives me something to worry about I wont assume the individual's guilt, even if I think their logic sucks on a given claim.

We are NOT denying Muslims commit acts of violence and use the Koran do do so. SO PLEASE STOP ignoring that. What we are saying is that does not give you or anyone the right to harm others who don't do that. 

"Keep violent people out" is all one has to say, and nobody would disagree with that. You don't have to say "Mexican" or "Muslim". I want non violent people to come here no mater what nation they are from. I also don't ignore that we have plenty of violent people born and raised here.

Isolationism is what creates human division. Fear of the unknown is what they sell and what you buy too. Fear feeds off itself and it exists in all camps. Blasphemy and criticism are one thing. Hate of bad logic is also one thing. But hating people as individuals whom have yet to do anything, is wrong.
