Alright Asteja, since you consider the trachea and esophagus connecting at the throat to be a terrible design, how would you improve it?

Not using our throat to eat or not using our throat to breathe we see examples of this throughout nature so it's definitely  possible. 

We must first figure out IF the design CAN be corrected to determine if there is even a flaw...

And infant child is semantic people under five die or and injured by choking . Hyper specifying infant  does not help your case . A flaw that leads to non fatal injury is still a flaw. And trivializing 73 deaths is still a dick idea .
