There's a sliver of the issue that would probably require additional solutions not at all related to gun access, but more tailored to poverty and the arms race between cops and criminals.....but I have very little expectation that our institutions are ready to address that sliver in any meaningful way. It would require acknowledgement of what they..and you, would rather deny, deny, deny....because "shoelaces" and "it's the individual".

I never said that we shouldn't enforce gun laws and I've never said that we needed new immigration laws either.
It's that $30 an hour McDonald's burger flipper mentality that has your cognitive thought process hitting speed bumps. You'll get there in time.
