Do you understand the significance of 'scare quotes'?

No religion-less person recognizes a problem of evil. It is only a problem for those who believe a perfect being created a perfect creation which has obvious flaws to those not imbibing the koolaid. But you make a good point, there isn't much point in arguing with you while you lack coherence. Catholic lady on the other hand seems much more worth the effort. At the very least we may gain some insight into how reasonable people can come to disagree.
It is not actually a problem for anyone. It's intellectually dishonest. Kids see evil and they understand there is a mystery to the world. Atheists are like frustrated kids who say I don't understand and so one else does.
You guys constantly just reassert that you don't know and so no one else does.
There is no problem. If you don't know, leave the mystery a lone. Build ground up from what you know.
Elephant in the room, you can derive God from his name in so many ways.
You can just assess love and it would lead you to God.
You can asses evil and responsibility and it would lead you to God.
You can assess beauty and it would lead you to God.
You can assess value and praise, etc...
