In the recovery area after my gall bladder surgery you need to eat something and not puke to be released. Was offered toast, and Jesus Fucking Christ was it good !!
Might have been the anesthetic or the narcotics, but I really enjoyed it. Nurse brought a second portion. I hadn't eaten for way over 24 hours before procedure and was really hungry too.
