So if you have kids; how does it feel?

It's a mixed bag: Love, fear, joy, frustration, anger, pride, elation, etc.
You know...The proverbial roller coaster.

And the most important question: if you have a chronic illness that your newborn might catch; would you venture and take the risk anyways?

Perhaps. 
I'd have to take into account the condition and it's severity, it's ability to be managed effectively, the statistical odds of passing it on, and the possibility of genetic counseling/IVF being utilized as a means of eliminating or minimizing the risk of transmission. 

In short: I'd be inclined to crunch the numbers with the appropriate medical professional(s), before ruling it out.
