Best Album: Dark Side of the Moon. Such deep, thought-provoking lyrics in so many of the songs. The songs, "Time" and "Us and Them" are so powerful; they just give me chills. They say so very much in so few words. Absolutely brilliant.
Best Song: Comfortably Numb. I can't say why here. It just grabs me in a way I can't put into words.
Pink Floyd was a group of philosophers who made songs in the Rock and Roll genre. The only parallel that I know of was the American band, The Doors. Both of them made songs that could just sweep you away to a land of deep thinking while you slammed beers and/or whatever your poison of choice was.
I LOVE Pink Floyd and The Doors. Both of them rock you out with your cock out while simultaneously preparing you for your philosophy final exam.
Not everyone will like either or both of these groups but I argue that they both left their mark on humanity. Both of these groups entertained you and grew you if you were willing to listen.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
