I find it funny that a lot of Christmas media revolves around some kid having a crisis of faith regarding the existence of Santa Claus. Like, a kid no longer believing in him is some sort of tragic loss of innocence, and that faith in something that doesn't exist is still beneficial.
I deduced that Santa wasn't real when I was somewhere around 4 or 5. I figured that Santa didn't really work for Hasbro or Mattel, and the penmanship on the gift tags was identical with my mom's. And when I came to that revelation, I wasn't sad. I just shrugged, because I knew I would still get gifts anyway.
Wait!
Santa...?
