The only way I would go to a movie today is if I was rich enough to buy the theater for the viewing and only have friends who agreed not to gulp, slurp, chew, smack lips, or talk during it.
Honestly though, outside my own bugaboos, I have worked at a movie theater, and maybe also part of my objections also, is having to CLEAN up that shit.
So to everyone reading this, even if you go. PICK UP YOUR SHIT and don't fuck up the bathrooms either. If you value labor, don't make their jobs harder. Other than that, no matter the movie, go and enjoy if that is your thing.
Working a movie theater isn't as simple as ripping ticket stubs or handing people popcorn.
