Time, I reckon. I can remember that at one point, Phantom Menace was rated Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Currently, it's sitting at 55%. Most of the Star Wars movies are Certified Fresh; Attack of the Clones is merely fresh, and Phantom Menace has fair-to-middling reviews. There does appear to be one thing to make the critics trash it: shitty animation.
The Clone Wars movie got a 19% on Rotten Tomatoes.
