People are individuals, and should be treated as such. A 21st Century Christian isn't responsible for all acts of Christianity in the history of the religion. That's just a dumb idea.
In the same vein, I don't feel responsible for atheism stuff in the USSR, slavery in the US, or whatever bullshit my ancestors were up to in yesteryear. None of it has anything to do with me.
Its like with vulcan's other thread titled "hug a theist" where it starts of by talking about the horrible things theists of a long long time ago have done, as if it applies to us.
There were 796 bodies found in a septic tank in Tuam, Co Galway earlier this year. They were the last remains of children forcibly removed from their mothers and given to the catholic church to rear. The most recent deaths occurred less than 50 years ago.
You are, at best, gravely mistaken if you think your church isn't still evil. More likely, you're engaged in that venerated strategy knwn as lying for Jesus. Keep it up and you may be sainted.

I've never said such a thing and you know it, your just upset because you haven't been able to get me to that, go find someone else to annoy.
GC
Says the man who closed his original account when his repeated accusations of persecution were becoming a parody of himself.

Name three and give evidence.
I just know he's going to bring up the destruction of the temple of Solomon. Even though that wasn't prophesied in the bible until after the Romans pulled down.
