No army secured the land in modern times either the world voted to restore the nation of Israel to the Jewish people. An army has been used in the past and in recent times to keep the land secure. At least it was secure in ancient times until as God told Moses men made up a cover story that they would lose there home because of sin as a nation.
So let's examine what has happened, God took men made up a story of a wandering desert tribe and through them secured the land for them and then in modern times God men convinced the world powers to re-establish the nation of Israel, no magic was needed the power of the might God delusion was what was needed.
