Not face to face, but over the phone. Even with my mom, when she was alive, over the years I would answer and her friends would say, "Hi Jane".

But no matter what business I call, 99% of the time when the associate responds to me they say, "Yes Mam".

He he he, oh well, what can you do.

I just called Fed Ex because I am expecting a package. And just like Travelocity and Qantas, every single one of them said "Yes Mam" at first until I told them I was male.

You gotta set aside the ABBA and channel your inner Barry White, bud. Speak from your diaphragm and no one will mistake it.

Um phoooy, you are born with a range of your vocal cords, I am not going to fake my voice. I speak naturally I feel no need to force anything. Cant get enough of ABBA baby.
