So the article was about unemployment.  It made no mention of Trump but it immediately de-evolved into an anti-Trump rant.

Question.   Would you all be happier with a higher unemployment rate?

No.

Question.  Is it a bad thing for the economy to have business investment increasing dramatically?

No.

Question.  Do you benefit from an improved business investment within the borders of the USA?

Yes.

Question.  How many of you will pay more income taxes?  For me, my income tax liability will go down next year.

You might want to run a poll for that.

It's nice that your liability will go down next year, but there's a lot more to the economy than your or our final tax bills. For instance there's the question of whether enough revenue will be raised from economic expansion to make up for the loss of revenue from the lower taxes and the increased spending on the military and other funding the GOP favors. Historically it usually hasn't worked out like that. We had a great economy under Bush, until the record-breaking crash. There's more to a sound economy than constantly 'priming the pump'.

GOP members keep running on getting the deficit down, but that's never what they do when they're in office.
