So, are you one of the lynch mob members who want to hang a person who has a different opinion than the one you approve of?
Nope.
Quote: Why should the doctor be denied the assumption of innocence?
Because, numb-nuts, he took a guilty plea. He decided to keep that guilty plea, even after, at his sentencing, the judge gave him the opportunity to change his mind. How many times do you have to be told this to understand it? Seriously, you can't be this dense, right?
Quote: He did plea guilty but innocent people are routinely blackmailed by prosecutors into pleading guilty for a lighter sentence.
Oh come off it. They offered him a plea most likely because they had a lot of evidence against him and there was no point in fighting that. Did you know that there were over 200 complaints filed against him? Yes, 156 victims survivors spoke out at his sentencing however, that doesn't change the fact that he admitted in a letter to the judge, to heinous acts committed against children as young as SIX years of age.
Quote: It was reported that the FBI had investigated allegations and found that the doctor hadn't committed any crimes. Then he gets hit with the child porn charges and he gets charged with the sexual assault charges. In today's environment he was a goner even if he had been as innocent as you.
Again - unless you are willing to learn ALL the facts of the case, then you are making an argument entirely out of ignorance. I'm not wasting my time repeating to you what has already been said numerous times. Your circle jerk arguments are smelling very stagnant.
Quote: IMO he had a shitty set of lawyers.
That is your opinion.
Quote: He should have gone to trial. Sure, he would most likely have been convicted but at least he wouldn't have given up his constitutional right to a trial by jury. And the prosecution would have had to prove all of the elements of the crime.
It was HIS CHOICE to take a plea deal. What are you missing about that? Furthermore, his attorneys still have the option of appealing. As far as the prosecution proving anything - well, he did that for them in his letter to the judge. I'm guessing you still haven't done a search for the contents of that letter. So really - you need to stop talking out of your ass based on pure conjecture and shit you don't know.
Quote:The fact is that everyone in the courtroom lies and history is filled with cases where women have lied about being raped. Guys have spent decades in prisons before the liar admits that she lied. In this particular instance all of the women see a chance to take advantage of the environment and get a big check so of course they will lie even if nothing happened.
It makes me absolutely sick that you are still holding onto this stupid view. You have insulted over 200 victims, 156 who bravely stepped forward to face their abuser. You continually victimize these young girls all the while failing miserably to see that there was an arrest, an arraignment, a schedule for trial, an deal by the prosecutor, an acceptance of that deal by the defendant, a letter the defendant wrote to the judge with specifics in it pointing to his guilt, another letter the defendant wrote to his victims apologizing for his acts on them and a sentencing hearing. He. Is. Guilty. Get over it.
Quote:Look on the bright side. I will defend you if you ever find yourself in a similar situation looking at a long prison sentence.
I don't have the sickness of sexually assaulting and raping anyone, let alone small children, you sick fuck.
Quote:Since it's apparent that some people go bat shit crazy when they read an opinion that doesn't conform to their pov it might be a great idea that in all future controversial issues the OP should simply state that he only wants to see comments that reinforce his own bigotted opinion. IOW, if the OP will go bat shit crazy if someone disagrees with his opinion he should clearly say that opposing views will not be tolerated.
The guy has already been convicted. He admitted guilt. No one is "going crazy" over anything other than your sheer stupidity and failure to comprehend any of this.
