I'm personally not a fan of the whole "murdering assholes are mentally ill" mentality because I think it makes mentally ill people all look crazy. Alas, being a sociopath is something of a mental illness, so it is somewhat true. Still, I like to make the distinction. The vast majority of mentally ill people are not psycho or sociopaths.
