These shootings keep happening, but apparently guns still aren't the problem.

Nor is now ever the time to try to discuss or fix the problem.  Hopes and prayers, people, hopes and prayers.

And whatever you do, DON'T politicize the debate.  Don't, for example, write to the legislator for your area, asking him/her to maybe sponsor a law to keep guns out of the hands of unsuitable people.  If you do that, the families of the victims will never get closure.

Just tax the ammo and accessories so heavily that they can't afford to much.

Get rid of the computer shooting games and movies that glorify violence and criminals. There's tons of naive kids who are easily influenced by that shit and then fantasize about acting on it.

Right.  Video games are the problem.  Movies are the problem.  The insane USian fixation on guns isn't the problem.

Dunno about you, but I watched easily 1000 hours of Looney Tunes when I was a kid, and I have yet to drop an anvil on anyone.
