And whatever you do, DON'T politicize the debate. Don't, for example, write to the legislator for your area, asking him/her to maybe sponsor a law to keep guns out of the hands of unsuitable people. If you do that, the families of the victims will never get closure.

There were also movies that glorified violence through guns, knives, bombs, axes, etc. which have all been used in actual killings. Don't know about the anvil thing you watched on 1000s of Looney Tune cartoons, though.
