I grew up with games like GTA, Half-life, and dark Japaneses games. A lot of people play or have played these type of games. The evidence connecting video games to violence is minimal at it's best. The blame should be transferred to social-media, company's like Facebook and Instagram should at fault here. Does anyone else agree that social-media is to blame as well?Just because you weren't influenced by the games you play doesn't mean that they didn't influence others who were more susceptible...and it doesn't mean that the gaming industry isn't partly responsible for creating a culture of violence in this country. But, yes, I do agree with you that social media has some share in the blame.
I'm aware that other people are more susceptible, the gaming industry does have admit some accountability. The many factors at least in my opinion are Video games, social media, mainstream media, the American film associations, the NRA, along side government. The Parents also have some accountability as well.
